You can be assured that to earn NSF bottled water certification we have gone through a rigorous process. This includes that the finished product must be produced in a facility that is inspected annually to comply with the requirements of the U.S. FDA, U.S. Codex Alimentarius and World Health Organization (WHO).
Additionally, the finished product is tested against a full battery of chemical and microbiological parameters to make sure there are no harmful levels of contaminants. This level of thoroughness provides you with the confidence that you are receiving a quality product.
In today’s rigorous food safety environment, independent audits and testing play
a major role in ensuring brand protection. This certification is not mandated by
any regulatory agency or governmental body, demonstrating our commitment to
our customer’s health.
The NSF mark on a bottled water label can help simplify your purchasing decision. Products that bear the NSF mark have undergone a rigorous thirdparty testing and inspection process. Look for the NSF mark on the label and feel confident you’re drinking a safer product. The NSF mark is your assurance that the product has been tested by one of the most respected, independent certification organizations in existence today.
We are working with NSF International because it has been testing and certifying products to food safety standards since its inception in 1944 and is
one of the most trusted names in food safety due to their stringent standards and high integrity.
Also, their bottled water certification program is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANAB-ANSI National Accreditation Board #0216) and their world-class laboratories are accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, the National
Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP) and the New York State Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP).
As well, NSF has a global network of auditors and laboratories and tests products for specific contaminants like pesticides, lead and arsenic. The Beverage Quality program that manages the certification process has been in existence for 36 years and have conducted more than 10,000 audits of bottled water, beverage and packaged ice plants around the world. NSF is constantly conducting training programs for our auditors to ensure consistency and calibration and this high of integrity is passed along to your customers.
The NSF certification demonstrates that we follow regulatory requirements and industry best practices for bottled water production
